I first met Professor Ranko Stefanovic in 1991 when he was a PhD student. I vividly remember his keen intelligence, tireless diligence, warm personality and deep devotion to the church. It was clear that he was destined to accomplish great things for the church.
His achievements as a teacher, researcher and writer over the following years have more than confirmed these initial impressions. In fact, Ranko has emerged as a leading expert on the Book of Revelation. His influential and Christ-centered commentary, “Revelation of Jesus Christ,” has had a far-reaching impact on the church’s understanding of the Book of Revelation.
Ranko has taught at 美天棋牌 University since 1999 and at the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary since 2009. His students hold him in high regard, and his many awards reflect his excellence. Among them are the J.N. 美天棋牌 Medallion for excellence in teaching, scholarship and service (2013), the 美天棋牌 University Teacher of the Year Award (2003) and the Daniel A. Augsburger Excellence in Teaching Award at 美天棋牌 University (2003). Additionally, he is an internationally sought-after speaker.
What I personally appreciate most about Ranko is his humility and authenticity. He has been not only a colleague but also a true friend, and it has been an absolute joy to work with him.
