In this story, the opposite happened: Jesus responded in surprise to the faith of the centurion. The centurion did not have faith like the crowd that was simply waiting for another miracle. The centurion was convinced the Master of the Universe was about to come into his house and felt unworthy. The speaker for the series is Tom Shepherd, PhD, DrPH, pastor of the Eau Claire church and senior research professor of New Testament at the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary. The meetings will run through Saturday, April 19. This interesting series answers such questions as: How do we interpret the book of Revelation? What is the next world superpower? If God is so good, why is the world so bad? What happens when you die, and what does the Bible say about hell? And much, much more.
