In this story, the opposite happened: Jesus responded in surprise to the faith of the centurion. The centurion did not have faith like the crowd that was simply waiting for another miracle. The centurion was convinced the Master of the Universe was about to come into his house and felt unworthy. Pastor Shepherd continues his series on "Prayers and Praises in Daniel and Revelation." His sermon this Sabbath from Revelation 6 is titled "Justice in the End." The world is filled with injustice. We wonder when things will ever be set right. The souls under the altar had the same question, and God has an answer. The church service begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by Sabbath School at 11 a.m. All are welcome. The Eau Claire church is located at 6562 Naomi Road in Eau Claire. The speaker for the series is Tom Shepherd, PhD, DrPH, pastor of the Eau Claire church and senior research professor of New Testament at the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary. The meetings will run through Saturday, April 19. This interesting series answers such questions as: How do we interpret the book of Revelation? What is the next world superpower? If God is so good, why is the world so bad? What happens when you die, and what does the Bible say about hell? And much, much more. Special features include archeological presentations by Michael Orellana, PhD, and beautiful music.
